What is Kickboxing?

Kickboxing combines the punches of boxing with kicks and knees. You learn a clean stance, footwork, combinations and defense – on pads, bags and with partners.

The training is intense and effective: it improves endurance, power, coordination and reaction time, and it is the perfect striking complement to grappling arts such as BJJ and Luta Livre.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to spar in Kickboxing?

Most of the class is technique, padwork and conditioning. Sparring is controlled and adapted to your level – nobody is thrown into hard rounds.

What equipment do I need?

For your trial class, sportswear and a water bottle are enough. If you continue, you will need your own gloves, shin guards and a mouthguard – we are happy to advise you.

Is Kickboxing good for losing weight?

Yes. Kickboxing is a demanding full-body workout. Combined with regular training, it is one of the most effective ways to improve your fitness.
